- Seminoma
- Testicular Cancer (Testis Cancer)
Seminoma is one of the main types of testicular cancer. Seminoma forms from germ cells of the testicle, can occur at any age, and can occur in isolation or with other types of testicular cancer. Seminoma can secrete HCG (a tumor marker).
Testis cancer develops when one or more of the cells in the testicle grow out of control. When one of these cells becomes abnormal and grows uncontrolled, it becomes a cancer.
