Testicular Cancer

           Appointments                      Ask an Expert ?
  1. I am currently a Hopkins kidney transplant patient that is doing very well. I had an orchiectomy at Hopkins in 1997 due to testicular cancer and would now like to get a Testis implant. Does being on Prograf affect the ability to get an implant or would this still be safe for the transplanted kidney?
  2. Testicular prostheses are very safe and carry a very low risk of infection. If you desire a prosthesis, we would support that decision. Feel free to contact our experts at 410 955 6100 for a clinic appointment.
