Honoring Skill and Commitment on National Doctors’ Day

Margaret’s story:

My scan showed a 15 cm renal mass severely compressing my kidney and the large veins below. Probably cancer: I was terrified. I discovered Dr. Mohamad Allaf and sent him an e-mail asking that he consider taking my case. I got a response back 15 minutes later stating that he could see me that week. “Hang in there,” he added, "we will get this behind us soon!!”

Three days later I met with Dr. Allaf to discuss my situation. He carefully explained the operation and patiently, and thoroughly, answered my pageful of questions. I was confident this gifted and caring surgeon would take good care of me. And, indeed, he did. My surgery was completely successful and my recovery, rapid and uneventful. I am now back in my garden, grateful for my good fortune.

Ian’s story:

“Dr. Schatz, I cannot begin to thank you enough. You have helped me regain a sense of normalcy in my life. You have been caring, sincere, honest and straightforward always. You saw my discomfort and cared and moved up scheduling to help me. God has given you great surgical skills and I am glad He helped me find you. I will recommend you to all of my friends! I am proud to be your patient!

Sincerely, Ian
