A pediatric urologist, Dr. Wang specializes not only in common urological conditions in children but in congenital abnormalities as well. Her research interests include genetic mutations in hypospadias, bladder development and long-term outcomes in children with ureterocele.
Her clinical interests include conditions such as urinary tract infections, vesicoureteral reflux, bed-wetting (enuresis), undescended testicles, hypospadias, hydrocele, hernia, varicocele, testicular torsion, kidney, bladder and genital anomalies, neurogenic bladder, genitourinary malignancies, and complex urinary reconstruction.

She has published and presented at national meetings include American Academy of Pediatrics and American Urologic Association.
